Resumen: Since the death of General Franco and Spain’s democratic transition, economic relations between Spain and the Ibero-American community have greatly improved both in quality and quantity. The causes lie in certain common elements found on both sides of the Atlantic-the product of history, language, culture, and in some areas, a genuinely shared identity.
